A $35 Million Private Island In The Bahamas

zhoukaiyaokaren

Last issue is about a private island in French Polynesia in the Pacific selling for $39 million. This time let me share another private island in the Bahamas selling for a similar price -- Hummingbird Cay.

Hummingbird Cay is located in the clear pristine waters of the Exumas in the southern Bahamas, just 5 miles from the mainland of Greater Exumas. The island is also close to a commercial international airstrip that is 6,500 feet long and only about 15 minutes away by boat. The nearby Great Exuma has an international harbor, hotels, restaurants and even a Greg Norman golf course that provide modern conveniences for island life on Hummingbird Cay.

Hummingbird Cay has a complete infrastructure with modern solar systems, Internet and communications services, including cellular telephone and Internet services provided by Bahamas Telecommunications. In addition, there is a harbor for small boats or seaplanes, and daily travel is easy.

This 175-acre maritime oasis is surrounded by crystal clear waters and a landscape of ever-changing sandbanks, coral reefs and skies where rare seabirds, such as sea eagles and frigate birds, often soar above the islands. The weather is warm all year round and the scenery is charming, making it perfect for a vacation.

The island has been a family resort for the past 50 years. On the east side of the island are several residential buildings, covering a total area of 1,700 square kilometers, including a main building, three guest houses, public facilities and staff quarters. The style of the house is Nordic, simple and fresh. The interior layout design is spacious and bright, very suitable for friends to chat and gather together.

The island has a large, white, 2,500-foot sandy beach and two smaller beaches, and the coast is perfect for fishing, diving and boating. The waters around the island are rich in Bahamian delicacies such as spiny lobster, conch and grouper, making them popular with outdoor sports lovers, divers, snorkelers and fishing enthusiasts. You can spend the day snorkeling on the colorful, vibrant coral reefs, exploring the trackless beaches of the nearby uninhabited islands, bone fishing, or experience local specialties at the town's marina restaurants.

There are also many places at higher elevations that offer excellent views and are perfect for building additional homes, gyms, tennis courts, beach huts, meditation or art studios, etc. All in all, this quiet, secluded private island in the Bahamas is a great place to imagine, whether to create your own tropical family estate or to develop it into an ultra-high-end boutique luxury resort.

Hummingbird Cay is also a very good tropical island in the Bahamas to invest in as well as Darby Island (0003), Little Ragged Island (0009) and Royal Island (0017) shared earlier. In addition to Commonwealth status, the Bahamas offers foreign investors convenience and security, including tax optimization, citizenship acquisition, privacy protection, freehold property ownership and other benefits. Hummingbird Cay, a freehold island, is currently for sale for $35 million. If interested, welcome to contact us for further information.

Thanks for your time! Until next time!
